Afternoon Everyone,
Hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year. Its time to start getting excited about the season ahead and all the great places were going to visit in blistering sunshine.
The season opener is on the 24th April to Weymouth as it was last year etc, The hotel wont let me do a group booking that early in the season so we all have to book accomodation ourselves, sorry about that. I would say everyone books into the Crown Hotel as usual.
I have booked the Galley Bistro restaurant & Bar again and have done a deal for a 3 course meal at £19 per person (bargain). I will upload the menu here in a few weeks time as they need people to chose there meals before we arrive.
Let me know if your interested in coming along so I can get some rough numbers. The meal is booked for 15 people so far.
Cheers and see you all soon
Julian

Hi Julian. Is anyone taking bets as to whether it'll be a Force 5 or 8 this time? Either way, we certainly intend to do this one again - probably for 3 people - but maybe 5 if footy, swimming fixtures and favourable weather let both kids and Pam come along as well. Trevor |

Hi Jon,
Yep booked the Crown as well, think i will avoid breakfast though. We will be out way before the 24th as well. Once I get back from snowboarding the boat is ready.
Hi Roy,
I'll put you down for 2 people for the meal, just book your rooms etc. Of course you need more boating, U have to make sure work doesnt get in the way.
Cheers
Julian

Afternoon Chaps,
Hope your all healthy and ready for the season ahead. Ive been snowboarding and now ready for boating time.
I spoke to the restaurant in Weymouth today and have booked the table for 23 people. They have asked me to pay a £5 per head deposit for the meal 3 days prior to arrival.
The week before were due to go i'll collect your meal choices to let them know and check the weather, it may be easier if I pay the deposits and you pay me on arrival but were plan that closer to the time.
Right time to get the boat serviced and see you on the water in a few weeks time.
Cheers
Julian

Hi Julian,
I am hoping to make the Weymouth trip is it too late to book in for the meal - it will most likely be one but possibly two people. Rgds, Richard.
PS. What is the cut off point for the trip if the weather blows up? |
